Solet Client Agreement
Version v2. Clients read and accept this agreement before their first paid session. How we handle your information is in our Privacy Policy.
Before your first session
Please read this once. It explains what Solet is, what it isn't, and what you're agreeing to.
1. What Solet provides. Solet is a career-direction and coaching service. We provide: the Compass diagnostic and your results; a written brief shared with your coach; a match to a coach; coaching sessions by video or in person; and tools for the work between sessions (your living map, Workshop assignments, reflections, and messages). Sessions are led by independent coaches who work with Solet.
2. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical care. Coaching helps you think clearly about your work and life and act on it. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, or treatment for any mental-health or medical condition, and it is not a substitute for them. Your coach is not acting as your therapist, physician, attorney, or financial advisor, and nothing in Solet is medical, legal, or financial advice. If you're dealing with something that needs a licensed professional, we'll say so and encourage you to get that help.
3. If you are in crisis. Solet is not an emergency service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (in the US), call your local emergency number, or go to the nearest emergency room.
4. Your choices and your results. The Compass results, brief, and anything your coach suggests are starting points for your own judgment. Decisions about your work, finances, and life are yours, and outcomes depend on many things outside Solet's control. We don't guarantee any particular result, job, or income.
5. How we work together. Show up for the sessions you book, or move or cancel them in advance through Solet. Your coach will do the same. Either of you can ask Solet for a different match if the fit isn't right. Be honest with your coach; the work only helps if it's real.
6. Privacy. What you share with your coach stays between you, your coach, and the small Solet team that supports the service, except where the law requires otherwise or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. Your coach's private notes are theirs; session updates to your living map are written with you. We don't sell your information. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.
6b. Session recordings. With your permission and your coach's, video sessions are recorded and transcribed so that a written summary can be prepared for your living map. Your coach reviews every summary before you see it. Recordings are deleted once the transcript exists, and transcripts are kept only as long as your coach's session notes. You can decline recording for any session before it starts, and you can ask us for your transcript at any time.
7. Payment and cancellation. Getting started is $150, paid in two parts: $45 for the Compass, your results, and your match, and $105 when you book your first session. Beginning the month after your first session, membership is $150 a month and includes platform access and one session each month; additional sessions can be purchased. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future charges and you keep access through the end of the paid period. The Compass fee is not refundable. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may use your credit for the month.
8. Age and eligibility. You must be 18 or older to use Solet.
9. Changes. If we change this agreement in a way that matters, we'll ask you to read and accept it again.
By checking the box, you confirm that you've read this agreement, you understand that coaching is not therapy or medical care, and you agree to these terms with Solet.
